Estelle Mandel

Estelle Mandel, 97, widow of Milton Mandel, died Monday, November 5, 2007 in the Broad Creek Nursing Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.She was born in New York City on April 30, 1910. She was the daughter of the late Max and Sadie Salmowitz.She was a woman of great intelligence who enjoyed art, cooking and reading.She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ivler of Bluffton, SC and Lynn Foggle of Boca Raton, FL; one brother, Robert Selwyn of California; and was the grandmother of John Ivler, John Foggle and Andrea Plotkin and eight great grandchildren.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
