Eugene Paul Nicholas

Eugene Paul Nicholas, 78, of Bluffton, SC passed away at his home on Thursday, June 17, 2010. He was born on January 9, 1932 in Jackson Heights, NY. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary Daly Nicholas.He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Bluffton, a motion picture film editor, and a US Air Force veteran.He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Moran Nicholas of Bluffton, SC; one son, Wayne P. Nicholas of Bluffton, SC; one daughter, Corey (Tom) Fisher of Summerville, SC, and five grandchildren, Janin Fisher Clinton, Scott Fisher, Bryan Fisher, Shawn Fisher and Brandon Fisher. He was predeceased by one brother, Nicholas Nicholas.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 24, 2010 with entombment following in Lowcountry Memorial Gardens, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 23, 2010.
