Evelyn J. Racki Bukovac

Evelyn J. Racki Bukovac, 85, widow of George Bukovac, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at The Preston.She was born in Wilmerding, PA on April 4, 1924. She was the daughter of the late George Racki Sr. and Rose Skadel Racki.She was former resident of Trafford, PA and moved to Bluffton in 2007. She was a retired secretary for US Steel. She was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and volunteer work.She is survived by her daughter Louise E. (George) Smith of Hilton Head Island, SC; one brother, George Racki Jr. of Trafford, PA and two grandchildren, Bradley A. Smith and Tara L. Smith. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Racki and a sister, Rose Marie Johnson.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 with burial at Beaufort National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:30 am.The family requests memorial donations be made to The Preston Health Care, Dogwood Unit, 87 Birdsong Way, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926 or Hospice Care of the Low Country, P.O.
