Everett Franklin Horton

Everett Franklin Horton, 77 of Ridgeland passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 in Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC. He was born in Ridgeland, SC on October 16, 1936 to the late Benjamin Earl and Flossie McKenzie Horton. He was retired from the South Carolina Highway Department and he was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia Terry Horton of Ridgeland; his daughter, Terry Lynn Jarrell (Bubba) of Early Branch, SC, his brother, J. R. Horton (Polly Ann) of Ridgeland; his sister, Joyce Jacobs (Rev. Astor) of Lexington, SC; his sisters in law, Betty C. Horton of Ridgeland and Hilda T. Horton of Bluffton and his grandchild, Paige Katelyn Jarrell. He was predeceased by his brothers, Norman and Eugene Horton. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Ridgeland. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm prior to the service.
