Fanny N. Anderson of Bluffton, SC, formerly of Follansbee, WV passed away on Monday, November 2, 2015. She was born on February 4, 1920 in Orange County, VA - she was 95 years old. Fanny was the daughter of the late Montgomery and Minnie Weaver. Fanny was preceded in death by her husband Burl F. Anderson; her brothers, Theodore Weaver, John Weaver, Edward Weaver; and sisters, Nobel Banks, Emily Weaver, Sarah Weaver, Margaret Braun, and Thelma Connell. Fanny is survived by one brother, James (Katherine) Weaver of Wellsburg, WV; and three sons, Ray of Billings, MT; Robert (Karen) of Port Royal, SC, and Burl (Melanie) of Bluffton, SC; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and scores of beloved nieces and nephews, whose names she never forgot. Fanny served as a Deaconess at the Follansbee Church of Christ, where she was a life long member. She worked whole souled as a volunteer for REACH food distribution center in Follansbee until health issues slowed her down. She was primarily a wife and homemaker, but she did work for several years as a press operator at Colliers Steel. She will be long remembered for her sense of humor and her heartfelt laughter. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Follansbee.
