Faye F. Coop Mitchell

Faye F. Coop Mitchell, 86, widow of George Mitchell, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at Ridgeland Nursing Center in Ridgeland, SC.She was born in Wago, Kentucky on March 3, 1924 to the late Arnie Coop and Della Logan Coop.During World War II, she was a welder in Canton Illinois Shipyard. She was a homemaker.She is survived by her son, Donald E. Gabbard of Ridgeland, SC; two sisters, Christine Leslie of Mishawaka, IN; Lilly Goodpasture of Greenfield, IN and one grandson, Michael Gabbard of Ft. Myers, FL. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 02, 2010 at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street in Mishawaka, IN with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland and Bubb Funeral Chapel are assisting the family with their arrangements. (saulsfh.com)
