Floride Heyward (Weechie) Carroll

Floride (Weechie) Heyward Carroll, 88, widow of Mack McLaughlin and Dr. Thomas B. Carroll, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at her home in Bluffton, SC.She was born in Hardeeville, SC on March 5, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Henry Guerard and Floride Pritchard Heyward. She was an Episcopalian and an avid gardener. She loved her family and friends and lived life to the fullest.She is survived by three stepsons, T. B. (Carol) Carroll of Lancaster, SC, Joseph (Ann Marie) Carroll of Tampa, FL and John (Sherry) Carroll of Hardeeville, SC; one sister, Caroline H. Goethe of Bluffton, SC; one niece, Pasty G. Hodge and husband, Frank of Bluffton, SC; and nephews, Chris Hodge of Charlotte, NC, Perry (Janna) Hodge of New York City and Franklin Perry Hodge IV of New York City.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 18, 2008 in the Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Bluffton Library, P. O.
