Fran K. Stewart

Fran K. Stewart, age 75, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Allen Park, MI died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center. Mrs. Stewart was born on June 5, 1940 in Wyandotte, MI, the daughter of the late Joseph Poremba, Jr. and Dorothy Walls Poremba. She was a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned a degree in Medical Technology. She worked as a Medical Technician in Michigan for many years. She was a member and helped start the book exchange in Sun City. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William “Bill” Stewart; brothers, Joseph Poremba, III, Walter Poremba (Faye), Marcus Poremba (Arlene), and Rick Poremba (Jill); sisters, Victoria Poremba (Dan) and Deborah Roop; and a host of nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
