Frank Winters, 72, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from complications due to Pancreatic Cancer.He was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 23, 1938. He was the son of the late Joseph Harold and Mary Trumble Winters.He is survived by his wife, Carol G. Winters of Bluffton; three sons, Scott E. Winters of Round Lake Heights, IL, Brian F. (Laura) Winters of Long Valley, NJ and Craig (Melissa) Winters of Medford, NJ; one daughter, Patricia L. (Eric) Lemoine of Lake Mary, FL; one brother, Joseph Harold (Gladys) Winters of Merced, CA; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by one brother, Edwin Winters.At the time of his retirement in 1995 he was an Executive Vice President for Panasonic. He also served in the Air Force from 1956 thru 1960. He loved being retired, spending time with his family and playing Golf with his friends. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 18, 2011 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton with burial to follow in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort.The family requests memorial gifts be given to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714 (www.lustgarten.org) in memory of Frank Winters.
