Frank James Leanza

Frank James Leanza, 78 of Bluffton passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at his home.He was born in Manhattan, NY on July 27, 1933 to the late Peter and Natalie Sobello Leanza.He was an Electrical Engineer. He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. He was a US Army veteran of Korea and a helicopter specialist. He was a member of the Sun City Veterans Club.He is survived by his wife, Vincenza (Enza) Leanza of Bluffton; three sons, Vincent (Clair) Galofaro of Long Island, NY, Santo (JoAnn) Galofaro of Wake Forest, NC and Joseph (Melanie) Galofaro of Long Island, NY; three daughters, Deborah Teresa (Scot) Harphant of Tucson, AZ, Dona R. (John Hannon) Coscette of Middletown, NY and Lori Sue Leanza of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer, Jessica, Danielle, Jimmy, Jenna, Sebastian, Julianna, Emily, Michael; four nephews, Ronnie, Chris, Peter, Michael and numerous cousins.A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton at Noon on Friday, July 20, 2012 with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:30 am, the day of the service at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
