Freddie Lee Taylor

Freddie Lee Taylor, Sr., 72, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the Hampton Regional Medical Center in Hampton, SC. He was born in Ridgeland, SC on January 09, 1941 to the late Cumsey Taylor and Laura Smalls Taylor. He was a Commercial Fisherman and he was a Christian.He is survived by his sons, Freddie Lee Taylor, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; Trevor McNair of Ridgeland, SC; stepsons, Richard Lee Wright, Sr. of Ridgeland, SC; Wallace (Almarie) Wright, Sr. of Beaufort, SC; Henry (Julia) Wright; daughters, Belinda Wright, Elizabeth Drake, Lucille Wright and Helen Spann, all of Ridgeland, SC; brothers, Frank (Shirley) Taylor of Savannah, GA; Ben Smalls, Joe Taylor, Edward Taylor, Cumsey Taylor and Willie Taylor; sister, Josephine Taylor of Philadelphia, PA; thirty grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Curtis Wright, Sr.; daughter, Lorraine Wright and baby girl Taylor.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 09, 2013 at the Mount Carmel Baptist Center in Ridgeland with burial in Low Bottom Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, March 08, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
