G. M. Saxon, 66, of Savannah, GA, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2009 at his home in Savannah.He was born in Savannah, GA on August 1, 1942. He was the son of the late Cardell and Agnes Brannen Saxon. He was a Longshoreman for East Coast Shipping Terminal Southern Bulk, Inc. He was a Baptist.He is survived by his son, Christopher (Cathy) Saxon; daughter, Serena (Mark) Boyles all of Tillman, SC; daughter, Hope Saxon of Savannah, GA; one brother, J.C. Saxon of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Patricia Smith and Christopher Saxon, Faith and Mark Boyles of Tillman, SC He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Saxon; his brother, Ray Saxon and granddaughter, Caitlyn Boyles.Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Floyd Cemetery in Tillman, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 til 8 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W.
