Gayle William Fox

Gayle William Fox, 65 of Ridgeland, SC passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2015 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC. Gayle was born in Columbus, OH on November 3, 1949 to the late Robert E. and Warda Gene Koch Fox. He was a former commercial diver who traveled worldwide; worked in Saudi Arabia building a community in Jeddah; graduate of Ohio State University where he received his Bachelors and Masters of Public Administration degrees; accomplished guitar player who loved rock and roll; advocate for people with disabilities, he worked for several years for State of Florida Department of Disabilities and for Florida Atlantic University Department of Disabilities; loved all sports especially Ohio State football and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Gayle is survived by his stepmother, Robyn Fox of Arizona; his wife, Lynn M. Roshon of Ridgeland; his son, Denver R. Fox (Macey) of Beaufort, SC; two daughters, Terra Fox of Columbus, OH and Kate F. Lucas (Clay) of Ridgeland; his brothers, Gary Fox of Tennessee and Jon Fox of Arizona; his sister, Kristy Fox of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; nine grandchildren, Ciara, Matt, Nick, Lexi, Haley, Brody, Taylor, Mason and Tripp and two great grandchildren, Ryder and Leyton. Private family services will be held.
