Gene Marie Schwille Sutter

Gene Marie Schwille Sutter, age 95 of Bluffton, SC died Monday, November 9, 2015 at NHC-Bluffton. Mrs. Sutter was born on December 11, 1919 in Etna, PA, the daughter of the late Christian Joseph Schwille and Catherine Caroline Swope Schwille. While living in Bluffton, as a resident of Bloom at Belfair, she was active with the ministerial team. Gene was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel John Sutter. She is survived by her daughter, Patti (Terry) Wurtzbacher; son, Samuel J. Jr. (Elizabeth) Sutter; grandchildren, Jennifer (Cliff) Lent, Christian (Carole) Wurtzbacher, Scott (Marie) Wurtzbacher, Dr. Jacqueline Sutter (Mark) Telaak, and Dr. Jonathan Sutter; and great-grandchildren, Sarah and Andrew Lent, Logan, Leilan, and Meryl Wurtzbacher, and Jonathan Sutter, Jr. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the United Ostomy Associations of America Inc. Funeral services will be private.
