Geneva Sauls Thomas

Geneva Sauls Thomas, 87, of Ridgeland, SC and widow of Leroy R. Thomas Sr., passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at her home. She was born in Fairfax, SC on January 5, 1923. She was the daughter of the late L. Martin Sauls Sr. and Coy Bowers Sauls. She was retired after 25 years as a seamstress with Holiday Wear Manufacturing. She was a member of the Ridgeland Baptist Church.She is survived by her children, Leroy Robert Thomas Jr., John Michael Thomas, Brenda Thomas Reiser all of Ridgeland, SC and Philip Martin Thomas of Okatie, SC; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She predeceased by her husband, her sister, Myrtis Lee Sauls and her brother, L. Martin Sauls Jr.Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 11, 2010 in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC with burial in the Ridgeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm prior to the service. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Ridgeland Cemetery Fund, P.O.
