George John Bukovac

George John Bukovac, 91, of Bluffton, SC died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at his home. He was born in Rankin, PA on November 7, 1916. He was the son of the late Michael and Ludmilla Staunsky Bukovac.He was a former resident of Trafford, PA. He was an engineer and draftsman for Westinghouse Corporation. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was the Town Auditor and School Board Director for Penn-Trafford School district. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.He is survived by his wife, Evelyn J. Bukovac of Bluffton, SC; his daughter, Louise E. (George) Smith of Hilton Head Island, SC and two grandchildren, Bradley A. Smith and Tara L. Smith.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton, SC at 10:30 am, Thursday, June 19, 2008 with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. The family will receive friends at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton, SC from 2 til 4 and 6 til 8 on Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
