George Michael Frank

George Michael Frank, age 84 of Ridgeland passed away on May 6, 2018 at his home in the Gillisonville Community. George was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 24, 1934 to Anthony and Josephine Restivo Franceschiello. In the mid 50’s, George joined the United States Navy and served between the Korean and Vietnam wars. George was a commercial and residential building contractor in Pittsburgh. He and his wife, Judy, moved to South Carolina where George became the Operations and Breeding Manager for Empress Arabian Farm at Possum Corner Plantation. In addition to his working days and after retirement he was an avid collector of old vinyl records and model cars. His passion was to build doll houses and model train towns for his grandchildren. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather and sibling to Judith M. Frank, Mark Anthony Frank, Don Lindich, Michelle Frank Cheadle (Frank), Dr. Tricia Lindich Etheridge (David), Kyle Cheadle, Cory Cheadle, Brodie Etheridge, Victoria Etheridge, Anna Monaco and Teresa Simoni (Ray). All of whom loved him dearly. George was predeceased by his son, Anthony George Frank, his brothers, Michael, Sam and Alfred Frank and his sisters, Elizabeth, Sandy, Rita, and Mary. George’s family will be receiving friends from 10:00 am until the hour of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Gillisonville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
