George Warren Jungk

George Warren Jungk August 4, 1933 – January 17, 2025 “I lived and then I died.” That was all Dad wanted to say because to him, the point was that he lived his life with few regrets. He lived a full life: raising kids, building a career after earning his law degree from KU, travelling to six continents with his wife Barbara, spending time with family and his many beloved dogs, and enjoying the beauty of the natural world. Dad enjoyed spending his final years in Bluffton South Carolina with his wife Barbara, son Erik and daughter in law Lisa. Dad leaves behind his wife, Barbara Jungk; son, Erik Jungk, daughter-in-law, Lisa Jungk; the mother of his grandchildren, Deborah Taylor; grandson, Ryan Jungk and his wife Amanda Jungk, granddaughter Alyssa Jungk; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan Jungk, Juliette Jungk, and Brielle Jungk.

In honoring Dad’s wishes, we choose to focus on the “I lived” and will strive to live each day to the fullest, just as he always encouraged us to do.
