George Michael Mlay

George Michael Mlay, 61, of Bluffton, SC passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 in the Bayview Nursing Center, Beaufort, SC.He was born in Seattle, Washington on July 17, 1947. He was the son of Marion McLallen and the late George Mlay.He was a P.G.A. Golf Professional and he was a US Army veteran.He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Walbridge-Mlay of Bluffton, SC; his mother, Marion McLallen of Bluffton, SC; four sons, Michael Kief (Linda) Mlay of Pumpkin Town, SC, Matthew Joseph (Kathy) Mlay of Brevard, NC, Robert Tee Mlay and Daniel Greene Mlay both of Bluffton, SC; one sister, Shannon (James) Smith of Bluffton, SC and granddaughters, Keelie and Kaelin Mlay.Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 pm, Monday, March 23, 2009 at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Cancer Awareness Foundation, 4375 Bluffton Pkwy, Bluffton, SC 29910.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
