Gerald Thomas Barrett, Sr., 56, of Scotia, SC passed away August 9, 2022 at his home.

Gerald was born September 8, 1965 in Charleston, SC to the late Jimmy Luther Barrett, Sr. and Lois Barrett. He worked in home building and repair.

Gerald is survived by his son, Gerald T. Barrett, Jr. (Katherine) of Yemassee, SC; daughters, Tabitha Johnson of Hardeeville, SC and Valerie Barrett-Seckinger (Mark) of Bluffton, SC; brothers, James Barrett and Kenny Barrett of Camden, SC; and grandchildren, Dylan Sandstrom, James Barrett, Nicole Lewis, Liam Kessner, and Christine Barrett.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2022 at Sauls Funeral Home, Bluffton.
