Gerald (Jerry) Beringhause
Jerry passed away peacefully, after a brief illness with his wife Elaine at his side on August 19th. Jerry was born in Brownsville NY on September 16, 1942. He was 72. He graduated from Brooklyn Tech and went on to LIU to receive his BA in History and his Masters in business and finance. He began his career with Texpak, Inc. a plastic and textile company almost 50 years ago. He became a partner and COO. His passion was sales. He had a quick wit, charm and the ability to get along with virtually everyone. Jerry was involved in the day to day business of his company up until his passing.
He was active, traveled the world with his wife Elaine, loved tennis, golf, his cars and his home. He truly lived life to the fullest.
Jerry loved and adored his daughters, Jaimi Meister and Debra Stark. Also, his sons in law, Rich Meister and Scott Stark and had a very special place in his heart for his beautiful granddaughters, Sydney and Jillian Meister and Rylie and Zoe Stark.
He was loved by many friends and his family. May his memories be a blessing.
