Gerard Stewart Schkolnik, 44, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 as the result of a plane crash in Polk County, Florida.He was born in Washington, DC on April 10, 1964. He was the son of Ronaldo and Clara Krichmar Schkolnik.He was a project manager for Gulfstream Aeronautics. He was a member of AOPA. He enjoyed scuba diving, flying and spending time with his family.He is survived by his wife, Karie Schkolnik of Bluffton, SC; one son, Sean Alexander Schkolnik of Bluffton, SC; two step daughters, Samantha Ann (William) Luhrsen of Beaufort, SC, and Alex Marie Wood of Bluffton, SC; his parents, Ronaldo and Clara
