She was born on May 15, 1917 in Carlstadt, New Jersey to the late Edward John Vorisek and Esther Martha Scott Vorisek. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at The Parish Church of St. Helena Baptist in Beaufort, SC with burial in Black Creek Baptist Cemetery in Walterboro, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams St., Ridgeland, SC.
