Gloria Rees

Gloria (Kroll) Rees passed away November 3, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in North Tonawanda on June 25, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Casimer W. and Marie C (Matarrese) Kroll. Gloria spent her professional career working in IT for several different companies in the Western New York area and her work even took her to China for a short period of time. She eventually moved to South Carolina where she retired, was closer to family and made many friends.

Gloria was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and never missed a game even after moving away. Gloria was an avid boater and member of the Niagara Power Squadron. Gloria enjoyed spending summer days on the Niagara River and Lake Erie. She loved being out on the water with family, watching the 4th of July fireworks, drifting on the water watching the sunrise while having her morning coffee and ensuring there were always treats to munch on.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband James W Rees. She is survived by her children Jessica (Anthony) DiTullio, and Jaclyn Seifert; grandchildren Brittney (S Wade) Brown and Samantha DiTullio; great grandchild Tristan Decker; her sister Rose (late Davie) Wightman, brothers Casimer (H Rebecca) Kroll and David (Inez “Bebe”) Clemons and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 25, 2026 at St Andrew’s Hall located at 220 Pinckney Colony Rd, Bluffton, SC from 2-6 pm.
