Grace Ellen Riley Cooler

Grace Ellen Riley Cooler was born in Hardeeville SC October 19, 1930 to the late Edward and Jalanie Riley. She passed away on August 3 ^rd peacefully at her home surrounded by her family. She graduated from Hardeeville High School in 1948. She married George W. Cooler in 1951. She was a life time member of Maye River Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for more than 70 years. She also worked at South Carolina Electric and Gas for many years. She was preceded in death by her late husband George W. Cooler, her parents and her brother Edward Riley. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Dorothy R. Cooler and Emma W. Cooler and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Maye River Baptist Church, Bluffton, SC until the hour of the funeral service.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Maye River Baptist Church Cemetery fund in memory of Grace Cooler.
