Grace Knight Whitten

Grace Knight Whitten, age 94, passed away peacefully December 30, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 30, 1925 in Melbourne, Florida to her mother Hattie Jane Floyd and father Lee Richmond Gaskins.

Grace loved her flowers and grew the most beautiful roses you would ever find. She was as proud of her roses as she was her family.

Grace is survived by her children Sue Marmolejo (and husband Lionelle), Wayne Knight, Freddie Knight (and his wife Patricia); her sisters Betty Driggers and Dorothy Wages; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews which she loved and touched deeply.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Knight and Robert Whitten as well as her son Gary Knight, her daughter Marie Williamson (and son-in-law Bobby Williamson) and daugher-in-law Carolyn Knight.

Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday January 4, 2020. Visitation will begin at 11:00am, followed by services at 12 noon at Central Christian Church. Burial will be immediately following at 1:00 at Hillcrest Abbey East.
