Harry William Mccarthy

Harry William McCarthy, 72 of Bluffton, SC passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in the Hilton Head Medical Center, Hilton Head Island, SC.He was born in McKeesport, PA on April 12, 1938. He was the son of the late Harry Leo and Louise Marie Kampert McCarthy.He was employed at Island West Golf Club. He was a former educator in the Pennsylvania School System. He was a member of the Sun City Softball League and a member of the Horseshoe Club. He loved golf. He was a Catholic.He is survived by his wife, Zoe M. McCarthy of Bluffton, SC; one son, Michael W. (Theresa) McCarthy of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Christine M. McCarthy and Julie A. Peiffley both of Saegertown, PA; one brother, Earle (Kay) McCarthy of Bluffton, SC and five grandchildren, Kathryn McCarthy, Zachary McCarthy, Anna McCarthy, Jacob Peiffley and Samantha Peiffley.The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC at 11:00 am, Friday, May 21, 2010.Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements.
