Harry Eugene Tuten

Gene was born November 21, 1950. He passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 after a short illness.

Gene was a veteran of the US Army and served in Germany for 3 years. He was a greens keeper for many years. He was self-employed, installing sprinkler systems, until his passing.

Gene is survived by his brother, Jerry (Lillian) Moore Tuten, Sr., brother, Wilmer Allison Tuten, niece and nephews Jay (Rita) Tuten, Travis (Stephanie) Tuten, Shannon (Allison) Tuten, Allison Tuten, Charlie Tuten. Also, a number of great nieces and nephews. Special friends of Gene, Rick and Frankie Nelson.

Gene is predeceased by his father, Wilmer Moore Tuten, mother, Sue Blocker Tuten and half brother, James Tuten.

A Memorial Service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Beaufort National Cemetery.
