Harvey Trabb

Harvey Trabb, age 76, passed away on May 9, 2024. Son of Yetta and Joseph Trabb, he was born on May 6, 1948 in Trenton, New Jersey. Harvey graduated from Trenton High School in 1966 and from Rider College in 1970. After a long and successful career at Rutgers University, he retired in 2003 and moved to Bluffton, South Carolina with his wife, Jan.

In South Carolina, Harvey volunteered reading with students at Red Cedar Elementary School, at Bluffton Self Help and taught history classes for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at USCB, where he also took many educational courses.

He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph and survived by Jan, his wife of 34 years.

Visitors may share stories of fun and laughter at the Trabb household on May 30, from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Contributions in his memory will be welcome at Bluffton Self Help and Hospice Care of the LowCountry.
