Hazel Nettles Rowell

Hazel Nettles Rowell, 90, died Thursday, May 02, 2013 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC She was born in Ridgeland, SC on February 18, 1923 to the late Lewis and Linner Dean Nettles She was a homemaker that enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved fishing; enjoyed working with her flowers and loved being outdoors. She is survived by her son, William J. "Billy" (Donna) Rowell, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; three daughters, Miriam Haymans "Mickie", Judy Wilson and Alice Rowell, all of Ridgeland, SC; sister, Wilma Jean McGill of Ridgeland, SC; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William J. Rowell, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 06, 2013 at Great Swamp Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of service at the church. Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.
