Hector Antonio Martos

November 8, 1947 — November 25, 2024

Hector Martos departed this earth after a full life of 77 years.

Hector was born in NYC in the year 1947 as the second child of Victor and Matilde Martos. In 1982 he married Carol and together they raised Tony and Christopher in their New Jersey home.

Hector is also survived by his sister Carmen (Dominick) as well as several nephews and nieces as well as friends both new and old – some friendships as long as 70 years…

It seems so very hard to believe that Hector is gone. The past four years saw some difficulties, but Hector and his family handled it well. He lived a full life, had a happy marriage, and a wonderful family. What more could you ask for?

As you reflect on Hector – remember, reminisce, cry and laugh for Hector left lasting impressions on all who knew him.

To honor and celebrate his life his family asks that you consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or World Central Kitchen.

There will be a gathering at our home, 650 Havenview Lane in Bluffton, SC, to share memories, hugs, tears and laughs on Friday, December 6th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Please get in touch with me, his wife, Carol for information.

With much love,

The Martos Family
