Helen Marie Dolan Finelli

Helen Marie (Dolan) Finelli, 87, of Bluffton, SC, affectionately known as Aunt Helen, peacefully passed away in her sleep on June 21, 2024. She was born on November 5, 1936 in Queens, New York to the late Sylvester Dolan and Helen Jasdorfer. Helen was the loving and beloved wife of retired NYC Police Officer Leonard (Lenny) Finelli, who predeceased her.

Helen spent much of her career in retail sales and real estate. She enjoyed engaging with customers and clients. She was especially proud of the Sweater Shop she managed in the Pocono Mountains of PA. She was an avid gardener and animal lover. Helen and Lenny were very attached to their dogs and cats. Helen was a devout Catholic.

Helen’s extended family is very appreciative of the compassionate care Aunt Helen received from Amy Mitchell and Ron Bowman of the Pines of Hilton Head, the Agape Care Group and Low Country Hospice.

Sauls Funeral Home , 90 Simmonsville Rd Bluffton, SC has arranged for a viewing on Tuesday, June 25 from 2:00-3:00 immediately followed by a brief service at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
