Helen Lucille Goswick

Helen Lucille Goswick, age 78 of Ridgeland and widow of Roy Eugene Goswick, USMC, Retired, passed away on August 9, 2019 at Candler Hospital, Savannah, GA.

Mrs. Goswick was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 29, 1940 to the late Montano Sabelo and Leona Horton Sabelo.

Mrs. Goswick was the former manager of Peterman’s Store; former nurses aid at Ridgeland Nursing Center and a member of the Coosawhatchie Baptist Church.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, James Sabelo and her three sisters, Mary Morrow, Mildred Sabelo and Peggy Sabelo.  She is survived by her sons, Roy Thomas Goswick Sr. (Kim) and James Benjamin Goswick all of Ridgeland and Roy Goswick, Jr. (Jennifer) of Atuscadera, CA; her sister, Jimmie JoAnn Alexander of Harrah, OK and two grandchildren, David and Daniel Goswick.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC.
