Helen Stauffer Joseph

Her strife is over and the dementia battle is won. Helen Stauffer Joseph went to be with her Lord and beloved husband Richard on April 8. Her devoted daughter, Linda Stevens (James) was with her at Brookdale Hilton Head Court. She also leaves behind her dear son, Richard Joseph Jr of Baltimore, treasured grandchildren James Stevens Jr (Sarah) and Elissa Stevens, three beautiful great grandchildren, Phoebe, Asher and Tripp Stevens and caring brother, David Stauffer Jr. The family would like to thank the devoted staffs at Brookdale and Tidewater Hospice for the compassion and dignity that was shown to her during the long period of her illness. At her request there will be no funeral, and she will be buried in her hometown of York, PA, at a future time.
