Helen P. MalphrusRidgeland, SCHelen Price Malphrus, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at her home in Ridgeland, SC.She was born on January 5, 1923 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Grover Price and Ada Vaigneur Price.She was a homemaker and a faithful mother who loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, John W. Malphrus, Jr.; one son, Tim Malphrus; one daughter, Judy M. (Bobby) Smith and one sister, G. G. Lowther, all of Ridgeland, SC; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son John Garfield Malphrus. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm, Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Great Swamp Baptist Church in Ridgeland with burial in Great Swamp Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:30 until the hour of service at the church.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements.(saulsfh.com)
