Helen Edith Werner

Helen Edith Werner, 94, of Bluffton, died September 17, 2012 at Life Care of Hilton Head.She was born in Bergen, New York on May 18, 1918 the daughter of the late George and Nellie Stanley Wood.She was a retired elementary school teacher. She was a Baptist.She was predeceased by her husband, Willard E. Werner.She is survived by her daughter, Sharon M. Schaefer of Bluffton, grandchildren Dr. Gregory Schaefer (Elizabeth) of Morgantown, WV and Captain Douglas Schaefer of Joint Base Lewis McCord, Washington; and two great-granddaughters, Madelyn and Olivia Schaefer.
