Henry Parks Moss Jr., Mayor of Ridgeland, SC, 69, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 in the Hospice House of Savannah, GA.He was born in Gainesville, GA on May 9, 1939. He was the son of the late Henry Parks Moss Sr. and Elizabeth Eberhart Moss.A graduate of Glynn Academy, Brunswick, GA and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia.He was the owner/principal of Moss Marine, LLC Consulting Firm of Ridgeland, SC; and owner/principal/broker of South Atlantic Real Estate Development, LLC of Ridgeland, SC. He had served as Jasper County Administrator from 1990 to 2004. He was a former City Manager for Beaufort, SC. A former Assistant City Manager for Brunswick, GA. He was the owner of Moss & Associates Consultants of Durham, NC. He was a former Director of Development for the Durham, NC housing authority and Executive Director for the Durham, NC Redevelopment Commission.He initiated the Jasper County port project on the Savannah River in 1990. He recruited and negotiated entitlements for the new hospital facility in Hardeeville, SC
