Herbert Carlton Draper

Herbert Carlton Draper, 82, of Ridgeland, SC passed away on January 13, 2010 at his home in Ridgeland. He was born in Windsor, NC on August 30, 1927. He was the son of the late Charles Henry and Lucy M. Harrison Draper.He was owner of Draper Trucking Company. He was a Christian. He was a US Air Force veteran who served in the European Theater during World War II. He enjoyed talking with people and traveling.He is survived by his wife, Virginia Godwin Draper of Ridgeland, SC; three sons, Carl (Kathy) Draper of Tampa, FL, Bruce (Phyllis) Draper of Ridgeland, SC and Dennis (Regina) Draper of Hilton Head Island, SC; two daughters, Denise Draper of Yemassee, SC and Jill Draper of Hilton Head Island, SC; one daughter in law, Jill Draper of Alva, FL and grandchildren, Tony, Priscilla, Julie, Sean, Brooke, Amber, Lauren, Harry and Nicholas and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Ricky and David Draper.Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2010 at Sauls Funeral Home, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC.
