Howard Randolph "Randy" Bolduc

Howard Randolph "Randy' Bolduc, age 82 of Bluffton, SC and Minocqua, Wisconsin passed away at his home in Bluffton on Thursday, December 3, 2015. Mr. Bolduc was born in New Bedford, MA on April 24, 1933 to the late C. Howard Bolduc and Ruth R. (Chase) Fitzgerald. Randy was fortunate to also be raised by the late Jeanne (Masse) Bolduc and J. Norman Fitzgerald. Randy proudly served in the U.S. Army, married his high school sweetheart, the late Patricia Ann Viehmeyer, and graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in psychology. As a young man, Randy played professional baseball in the Milwaukee Braves farm system. His early career included corporate marketing and sales positions for Johnson and Johnson and Heublein's Wines & Spirits, eventually leading to executive positions for Mogen David Wine & Spirits and North American Car Corp. After corporate life, Randy became a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating several small businesses, and a real estate developer, developing small, medium and large real estate projects in Connecticut and the Northwoods of Wisconsin. He was an avid reader; enjoyed travel, having visited much of the world; was a lifelong fisherman; played pickleball into his 80's; enjoyed writing and was passionate about photography, for which he won various awards. Mr. Bolduc is survived by his three children, Lisa (Bolduc) McKiernan, her husband Michael McKiernan of Darien, IL, Lori Ann Bolduc of Bluffton, SC, and Thomas Bolduc, and wife, Anna (Davero) Bolduc of Dubuque, IA; brother, Charles Bolduc, sisters, Patricia Lawrence, and her husband, Peter Lawrence, and Kerry Fitzgerald; six grandchildren: Terry, Jacob, Sarah, Adam, Megan, and Katelyn; three nieces and a nephew and his companion and best friend Marilyn Booher. Visitation is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Randy's name may be made to the Warrior Amputee Softball Team (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or a charity of your choice.

Visitation is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm.
