Howard L. 'Sonny' Ellis Jr.

Howard L. ’Sonny’ Ellis Jr., 47 of Bluffton and husband of Lisa Leanne Lloyd-Ellis passed away on November 8, 2017 at Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Island, SC. Sonny was born in Savannah, GA on November 5, 1970 to the late Howard L. Ellis and Ann Martin Hart Ellis. Sonny was a licensed boat captain who enjoyed fishing and boating on the Maye River. He was a mortgage broker. He was a member of the Bluffton Men’s Club. Sonny loved camping and traveling with his wife, Lisa. Sonny is survived by his wife, his sister Anne M. ‘Punkin’ Ellis of Casselberry, FL; his uncle Richard Ellis (Barbara) and cousins Shannon Davis (Crissy) and Gene Davis.
