Hozong Robert (Bob) Lin

Hozong Robert Lin (Bob) was born in Taiwan on June 2, 1946.  After graduating from college, he immigrated to the United States for graduate studies at Texas A&M where he earned a PhD in food science.  While at school, Bob met his wife, Chiaping, and soon after they had their only child, Howard.  Bob spent most of his career in R&D for the food science industry in NJ.  Bob found his final home in Bluffton, SC where he passed away on April 6, 2022.

Bob was the son of Mou Chung and Shou Chou.  He is survived by his wife, Chiaping, son, Howard, grandchildren, Emma and Mia, and sister, Sue.

Bob was kind, generous and loving and he touched the hearts of many.   We will miss him greatly.

Service will be held at Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton on April 23, 2022 at 10am.  The event will be outdoors - weather permitting.
