Ilyse Cantor Queen, 48, of Bluffton, SC died Sunday, February 23, 2014. Ms. Queen was born in Long Beach, NY on February 19, 1966. She was a graduate of Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, FL and attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. She worked in the hospitality industry for many years, including the Hilton and Marriott Corporations. She was active in the Bluffton business community and was a board member of several committees, including the Hilton Head networking business community and the ATAX committee. Her infectious smile and warm heart radiated to all who knew her and to know her, was to love her. She had an adventurous spirit and was always the life of the party. This spirit allowed her to acquire many lifelong friends during her life and she will be dearly missed by all. Ms. Queen was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Charles Cantor. She is survived by her mother, Karen Cantor of Bluffton; daughter, Jordan Gowen of Bluffton; brother, Philip Cantor and wife Michelle of Smyrna, GA; granddaughter, Brooklynn Gowen; Aunt, Irene Lewis of Roswell, GA; and uncle, Warren Lewis of Darien, CT. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton followed by burial at Low Country Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, P.O. Box 3827, Bluffton, SC 29910. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 â
