Irene Ciccone

Irene Ciccone,of Bluffton and widow of Michael Ciccone passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 in the Benton House with her daughter, Cynthia Hanvey by her side. Irene's 100 years were fulfilled with joy and love for her family. Irene was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 16, 1915 to the late Carmine and Louise Santucci. Irene devoted her time to caring for her beloved husband and her children; and she attended Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Hanvey and Louise Skau. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton with entombment following at Lowcountry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 til 5 and 7 til 9, Friday, September 4, 2015 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton.
