Irene Magdalena Helle Rosenbloom, 84, of Bluffton died May 25, 2014 on Hilton Head Island.
She was born on June 17, 1929 in Germany, the daughter of the late Arthur and Irma Helmuth Helle.
She moved to Rose Hill Plantation in Bluffton in the early 1980's from Wilton, CT. She was Catholic, a devoted homemaker, was very fond of Dachshunds, and enjoyed playing tennis.
She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Joseph Samuel Rosenbloom, in 2012.
She is survived by two sisters, her twin Gerda Acimovic of Germany and Anita Hoffman (Norman) of Sydney, Australia; her nephew Dr. Thomas Brinkmann and niece Martina Keil both of Germany; and Joseph S. Rosenbloom's children Richard H. Rosenbloom (Patrice M. Krant) of Fairbanks, AK, David G. Rosenbloom (Cheryl) of Binghamton, NY, and Cynthia L. Lee (James) of Fairfield, CT
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, May 30, 2014 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton with private burial following at Beaufort National Cemetery at 2pm.
