J. Lois Kilian

J. Lois Kilian, of Bluffton, SC and formerly of Dayton, Ohio died at home on December 30, 2009.Lois was born in Pulaski, IN in 1924. She graduated from Purdue University School of Nursing with a degree in nursing in 1946. She began her nursing career assisting Dr. A. C. Arnett founder of Arnett Clinic in Lafayette, IN. She was an avid bridge player, a volunteer at Hardeeville Elementary School, loved travel and visiting her grandchildren.Lois and Bill retired to the Bluffton area in 1996.She is survived by her husband, William E. Kilian; son, Bradley L. Williams of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Tamara W. Henry of Augusta, GA; stepsons, Steven Kilian of Dayton, OH; David Kilian of Huntington Beach, CA, Paul Kilian of Chicago, IL and eight grandchildren.In honor of Lois, remembrances may be made to Island Hospice, 300 New River Parkway, Bluffton, SC 29902 or to a charity of one
