Jack “Jackie Blue” Williams

Jack “Jackie Blue” Williams, age 65, of Ridgeland and formerly of Hilton Head Island died Friday, September 29, 2017 at home. Mr. Williams was born on February 29, 1952 in Martinsville, VA, the son of the late Joseph Walter Williams and Jean Womble Williams. He was a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and was a retired veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jack enjoyed woodworking, boating, being a jokester, and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his sister, Ann Gleason; nephew, Patrick Gleason; nieces, Annie Haney and Ellie Madden; and their spouses and children. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Gizmo and Eva; and many lifelong friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at The DryDock, 840 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to your local humane society.
