Jacob Towery Collins was the beloved son of Paul R. and Lisa Ann Dean who passed away sadly on May 11, 2024 as the result of an accident.
Jacob was born on September 4, 2001 on Hilton Head Island and had just finished his courses in Computer Programming and was planning to pursue Cyber Security. Jacob began his career with Jasper County in Information Technology.
On any given day Jacob, or "J" as he was fondly called by his family, could be found working in his shop, hanging out with his buddies, going to the gym, of spending time with his four-legged best friend, Ozzy. He loved challenging himself on his many projects such as rebuilding four-wheelers, mini bikes, or working on his boat. He even taught himself how to build his own PC computer from start to finish.
Jacob was an extraordinary young man who quietly loved those that he cared about deeply and fiercely. If you were blessed enough to have met Jacob, then you were lucky to know such a kind soul who would go out of his way to take care of those he loved.
In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Ann Mannella (Isaac) of Houston, TX; Hannah Grace Collins of Clemson and Cameron E. Dean of Ocala, FL; his brother, Wyatt Dean of Charlotte; his maternal grandparents, Leona B. Towery and Gary Towery of Okatie; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Dean of Bluffton; Uncle Michael Towery of Spartanburg; Uncle Charlie and Aunt Anne Dean of Bluffton; Cousin Gus Dean (Briar) of Bluffton; great aunt, Ann Towery; cousins, Scotty and Elizabeth Towery and his faithful companion and best friend, Ozzy. Jacob was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Charles Dean.
