Jai Jeffrey Reneau

Jai Jeffery Reneau of Bluffton, SC passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. He was born March 18, 1961 in Iowa City, IA to John and Caroline Reneau.

Jai grew up in Madison WI. At the age of eighteen he joined the Marines where he thrived. Eventually he was promoted to Sgt. and Drill Instructor at Camp Pendleton. Once he left the Marines, he continued his love of service working for the VA hospitals as a Chief in Environmental Services in both Milwaukee and Madison, WI. locations.

Jai is survived by his wife Jean, mother Caroline, a brother Jon (Julie) and a sister Tauna (Lazaro). He had a special love for his step sons and many nieces, nephew, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, John. He will be remembered for his kindness as well as his good natured sense of humor.

Jai will be laid to rest at Beaufort National Cemetery to be followed by a Celebration of Life in his hometown, Madison, WI.
