James Sloan Beaty

James Sloan Beaty, 92, husband of the late Patsy Hucks Beaty, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 in his home with his family. He was born November 6, 1929 in Sumter, SC to the late Robert Wesley Beaty and Nell Hunter Beaty.
Surviving is his daughter, Peggy Beaty DuRant (Perry) of Beaufort; grandson, Walker DuRant of Beaufort; granddaughter, Leigh DuRant Hiers (Scott) of Hampton; and great-grandson, Logan Hiers of Hampton. James was preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Beaty Crabtree and great-grandson, Rylan Hiers.
Memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, www.mda.org .
Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton is assisting the family with arrangements.
