James Harris Grayson

James Harris Grayson, 87, of Okatie, SC , passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Bayview Manor in Beaufort, SC. He was born January 13, 1924 in Hardeeville, SC to the late Leland Arnold Grayson, Sr. and Marie Cone Grayson. He was a Pharmacist; US Army Veteran of WWII having served in France and Germany; a Purple Heart recipient and he was a Baptist.He is survived by four sons, James Harris (Wanda) Grayson; Gerry L. (Nadine) Grayson; Buddy B. (Bobbie) Grayson, all of Okatie, SC; William R. (Laura) Grayson of Summerville, SC; one sister, Jane G. Dasher of Hardeeville, SC; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Hudson Grayson and two brothers, Russell E. Grayson and L. Arnold Grayson. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is assisting the family with their arrangements. (saulsfh.com)
